Banking and insurance have poor reputation among Canadian businesses

Banking and insurance have a low reputation and their customers are at risk

TORONTO, CANADA, March 2017

A new survey conducted by Modus Research shows that Canadian managers and executives rate Banking and Insurance the lowest amongst the industries covered. In addition, some 40% of their customers are at risk. By contrast Accounting and IT were rated the highest.

However, not all banks and insurance companies are the same with some rated much more highly than others. Those that offer good service and understand their clients’ businesses score more highly.

These results came from much wider studies of both banking and insurance carried out by Modus Research using the Modus Business Panel. These data came from 848 managers and executives across Canada and have an accuracy of +/- 3.4% points 95 times out of 100.

Established in 2012, Modus Research is a full-service research agency that provides clients with actionable feedback from Canadian enterprises based on truly representative samples.
